This complex coffee from El Salvador has a powerful and spicy aroma, with a dark chocolate and marzipan sweetness, also likened to apricot. Grown by Jaime Ernesto Riera Menendez, on his small farm on the foothills of the Santa Ana volcano, the plantation benefits from nutritious volcanic soil at a very high altitude, resulting in slow-ripening, high-quality fruit. These beans were awarded 3rd place at the El Salvador Cup of Excellence awards (C.O.E) in 2010 making it one our most prestigious beans. How does the coffee stay fresh?

Our coffee is roasted to order and en route to customers within 72 hours of being roasted. Plus, we use special packaging to keep the coffee fresh, increasing its shelf life. So you can be confident that you're getting the best possible cup of joe every time you brew up one of our beans.

Do you follow ethical practices?

Our coffee beans are sourced from rainforest alliance approved growers, which means they're grown ethically and sustainably. We work closely with the coffee plantations to make sure that the pickers and planters are well looked after. We believe in an ethical approach to everything we do, and that includes the way we treat our staff, customers, suppliers and local community. So when you're enjoying a cup of our coffee, you can rest assured that you're also supporting a great cause.

What are the delivery options?

We currently only offer shipping to customers based in the UK.

We will always aim to get our products to you as soon as possible, we use Royal Mail and DPD as our delivery partners.

For orders under 2KG in weight (including packaging) we will typically use Royal Mail 48 service which will generally take 2-3 days to get to you. For orders over 2KG (including packaging) we will always send via DPD next working day. You can find out more here.
